The Next Step

I started my real estate investing and property management classes a few weeks ago. So far, so good. It's allowing me to be surrounded by people who have the some of the same goals and interests as me. I get to ask questions and do some of the things that I might have a little fear of doing by myself, while making my mistakes along the way. I love it! I feel like I'm putting some of those countless hours of reading and studying to use. By the way, those hours have helped tremendously because a lot of the material that I learned in the book stores is covered in the classes.

I'm getting exactly what I wanted. Now the next goal, besides finishing the classes, is to acquire a property by February. I think that if I put enough effort into myself and the process that I can reach this goal. It's going to take a lot of hard work and dedication but everything worth having does. So watch me as I take my journey on its new path. Wish me luck...

Expand the Leaning Curve

Have you ever wanted to learn something but books just weren't enough? If you're like me, then having someone to physically teach you something probably helps you understand much better and faster. As I was doing my morning blog rounds, I checked up on a site that I came across a month ago on under30ceo.com called Skillshare. It's an amazing site that allows teachers to teach and students to learn just about anything under the sun from jewelry making to Photoshop 101.

I also found a few more that you can check out:

Podclass- A place where you can buy, sell, or share your expertise in a given field through podcasts and online  video

School of Everything- Learn whatever your heart desires and teach your skills in an field, subject, or nic-nac you can think of!

Khan Academy- This is a non-profit dedicated to making education free to the world. It's more geared to academia but is definitely an asset to add to your resource arsenal.

Check these sites out and let me know if you find anymore!

A Day in the Life

This was posted on INC's page from the the September 2011 issue. I just thought it was interesting to see how CEO's actually carve out time in their schedule to do the normal human things. Hopefully I will soon be a part of this regimen.Hit the link to see the full schedule.
